10 Fun Twin Falls Indoor Activities

Just because it's winter doesn't mean you have to be stuck inside. The Magic Valley has action year-round, and the Twin Falls area offers an abundance of fun activities in the winter to keep the whole family warm and occupied. From Axe Throwing to Zombie slaying - here are 10 Fun Twin Falls Indoor Activities.

1. Axe-Throwing

It's the craze sweeping the nation and one of our favorite things to do in the Magic Valley. Unleash your inner Patrick Bateman in a safe, controlled environment at the Bearded Axe - Twin Falls only axe-throwing gym. They’ve got lessons, leagues, and even tournaments. So if you’ve got an axe to grind with your colleagues, come let it all out (within reason) at the gym. Or, even better, book a lane and bring your friends, food, and drink, and make a great time while blowing off some steam trying one of the coolest new activities out.

2. Jump Time

While your house stays nice and toasty this winter, an indoor trampoline park is another fun craze that's a great workout for the whole family. Check out Jump Time, designed for fun with all ages in mind. Jump Time offers a trampoline wall and airbag, aero ball, extreme dodgeball, virtual reality, and inflatables for toddlers. Get you and the whole family bouncing around and having a good time this winter.

3. Bowladrome

Some classics never go out of style, and bowling is one of them. Bowladrome offers a clean and family-friendly environment boasting 30 lanes, pool tables, a snack bar, a pro shop, and a bar. They also have leagues and are available to host events and parties. So lace up your bowling shoes and share some smiles and memories with family, friends, and/or co-workers. Take some classes to step up your game, or join a league and show the town what you can do.

4. Skateland

Ready to get your groove on and your body moving? Skateland has been etched and ingrained into the fabric of Magic Valley culture for decades and is the place to be for your flex on two sets of four wheels. Skateland has lessons, skates, rentals, and sessions for all different levels and styles of skating.

5. Twin Falls City Pool

Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean that you have to wait until summer to enjoy a good swim. Twin Falls City Pool is within a domed structure, so you and your loved ones to get out of the house and enjoy a range of water activities. Splash!

6. Magic Valley Mall

Get your shop on, try some of the world's most popular foods, let the kids run around the playground, and catch a movie. You can do all of this and more at the Magic Valley Mall. The MVM has over 60 shops and stores to choose from, as well as a movie theater, and - of course, 'tis the time of year to bring the kids to see Santa Claus!

7. PlayJoy

While you're at the mall, enjoy some nostalgia and watch the kids' eyes light up as they bounce from game to game at the PlayJoy arcade. PlayJoy isn't some dingy old quarter joint either. While it does evoke nostalgia and bring back that old feel, the facility is very much up-to-date, well-kept, and modern.

8. Blast Masters

This is one of those activities that I wish was a thing when I was a kid, but I will happily get involved with it as an adult. Blast Masters is a bring-your-own nerf gun arena fit for kids ages five and up. They have snacks for sale and nerf guns for rent, and they provide all ammo. Bring the kids or leave the kids and bring your friends, and have a blast!

9. Escape Rooms

Escape rooms are a cool new form of entertainment that has people working together to solve puzzles and problems in order to 'escape'. Twin Falls Escape Rooms are excellent for team building, problem-solving, entertainment, and tons of laughs, and they have a cool way of bringing out the best in all participants. Will you and your friends be able to escape?

10. Laser Tag

Go visit Laser Mania for some all-out fun. Laser tag is always a good time and a great way to get out of your warm house this winter. Laser Mania has a laser tag, neon golf, and an arcade. They also will reward students with arcade tokens based on their good grades so bring your report cards!

No matter what you're into, there's plenty of fun for you and the whole family throughout Twin Falls. But if a breakdown’s getting in the way of you keeping warm and cozy at home, don’t hesitate to reach out to your friendly neighborhood service folks at Intermountain. We offer 24-hour service and provide priority to people with your children and the elderly so everyone can keep warm and safe at home this winter.
