We’ve been rooting for the underdog since 1986

At IMHVAC, our core values are to treat people the way we want to be treated, root for the underdog, grow, and celebrate together.

Intermountain Heating & Air Conditioning was founded in 1986, by Larry Ernst. He was a firm believer that people deserve to be treated the way they would want to be treated. To him, that meant two things: giving people a chance if they were willing and eager to learn, and also providing the best customer experience possible.

Larry believed that by being a pioneer in the field, he would not only attract customers but also employees. He had an amazing sense of intuition and a great eye for hardworking people, therefore he hired Kosta, regardless of cultural differences or language barriers. Kosta became a lifer at IMHVAC, eventually purchasing it after Larry’s passing. To this day, we hold onto Larry’s vision of excellence and equality by rooting for the underdog, creating amazing employee and customer experiences, and constantly looking for new ways to grow.

That’s why, for the first time ever in the company’s history, we are taking massive steps to increase the benefits offered to our employees, including extremely competitive wages, full health, and dental insurance. We support those who support us. And right now is the best time to join if you want to be a part of the growth and set yourself up for a future position in leadership.

Experience growth with us - join our team to be a part of something bigger. If you are eager to learn, grow, and ready to put in the work - get in touch.
